Truly one of the greatest of ignored albums of all time, The Godz' Nothing Is Sacred is one of the best from it's era of late 70's pure rock and roll. Everything about it oozes the trademarks of what made American bands of that time so important, and provided the missing link between all out success and total obscurity. Bands like the Godz were everywhere at the time, in every garage, every bar, and every party, providing the kind of boogie that got the place moving from the first note to the last. The trouble was that bands like this rarely got a chance to bring what they had out to the general masses on a large scale, so ultimately you never heard most of them. The Godz were the best at what they did at the time, and encompassed everything good and bad about rock and roll.
