SHOULDN'T DO PROFILES PROFILES ARE BAD

Natural narcissistic tendencies aside I do not enjoy writing about myself. All that should matter to anyone interested in who I am is that I am a lifelong student of all things horror related. I have spent too much of my time obsessing over films that most people laugh about. I continue to do so even though I am cognizant of this. At age forty three it is apparent this behavior will continue, unabated, for I've no intention of changing my ways. It is my hope to interact with others who share the same misguided preoccupation with grim entertainment through the forum of KillingBoxx, once it has been built.

I hail from Massachusetts and reside in New Hampshire at the Junkyard farm. It's a real farm, we've got horses and shit grows here too. Aside from the grim I also love heavy music (MOTORHEAD, RAMONES, SYSTEM OF A DOWN, ROB ZOMBIE, SICK OF IT ALL, ROLLINS BAND, RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE, and the DIXIE CHICKS).

My favorite film is George Romero's KNIGHTRIDERS.
My favorite director is John Carpenter.
I have a soft spot for the zombie sub-genre and a hard spot for Famke Janssen.
I think Reggie Bannister is the most criminally underused actor, the guy fuckin rules! He should be in every movie made.

I think Thomas Jefferson was right.
Did I mention Famke Janssen is hot?
I detest the PG 13 rating and hail the unrated DVD format.
I believe GRINDHOUSE was a pair of masterworks and if you don't agree I think you're wrong.

I believe Beatrice Dalle's performance in INSIDE makes her the BADDEST MOTHERFUCKER ALIVE!
I miss Debra Hill's name appearing in the credits of films
Good horror films are not determined by budget, they are created by drive and vision.
Good horror comes from all over the world and to ignore foreign properties is both ignorant and infantile.
Angela Bettis is quite possibly the finest actress of her generation.
The fact that PANS LABYRINTH did not get best picture still irks the shit out of me.
The future of film, including the horror genre, rests upon the shoulders of independent artists who create because they are driven by factors beyond greed.
Penny Drake, Cheri Christian and Raine Brown need to be watched.
